Reds for Christmas

Prendere la scusa del Natale per fare un post sui rossetti rossi: FATTO.
Ahah, in realtà ci stavo già pensando da un po', e a dirla tutta volevo fare una serie di post anche sui "verdi", sui "blu", e su altri colori natalizi, ma sarebbero stati molto scarsi, quindi mi limiterò al rosso :)
Dunque, vi illustro i rossetti rossi in mio possesso con tanto di swatch (non sulle labbra però, c'ho provato e le foto erano pessime, doh!) ...
Voi indosserete il rosso sulle labbra per queste festività? Io mi dico sempre "sì, quest'anno rossetto rosso!", ma poi finisco sempre con un colore nude o rosato, di quelli che non si nota quando svaniscono, perchè tanto lo so che finisco a mangiare come se non ci fosse domani! :P
Quindi bando alle ciance, e beccatevi gli swatch! ;)

Using Christmas as an excuse to make a post about red lipsticks: DONE.
Ahah, I was thinking about that, telling the truth, and I wanted to make other posts on the "greens", "blues", and other Christmas colors, but I was afraid that they would have been very poor posts, so I'll limit to the red :)
These are the red lipsticks I own, pics and swatches (but not on the lips, I tried, but the photos were bad, so ...).
Will you wear red on your lips for this holiday season? I always tell myself "yes, this year I'll wear a red lipstick!", but in truth I always end up with a nude or pink color, one of those you don't notice when it fade away, 'cause I know I always end up eating like there's no tomorrow! :P

Review: NYX Round Lipstick

Piano piano il clima si sta facendo sempre più rigido, e questo vuol dire due cose: il mio umore è direttamente proporzionale alla temperatura dei miei piedi, e ho rispolverato tutti i rossetti un po' più corposi :)
Di conseguenza mi sono resa conto di non aver mai parlato di Round Lipsticks di NYX che avevo ordinato lo scorso Gennaio da Cherry Culture! - qui il post haul dell'ordine, con i dettagli della spedizione! -

Slowly the weather is getting colder, and that means two things: my mood is directly proportional to my feet temperature, and I re-started to use structured (?) lipsticks :)
So I realized that I've never talked about NYX Round Lipsticks, I have ordered last January from Cherry Culture! - here my haul post, with all shipping details! -.

Preview: Shine Caresse L'Oreal

Per vie traverse e conoscenze varie, sono venuta in possesso del nuovo Shine Caresse, la nuova tinta per labbra di L'Oreal.
Il lancio dovrebbe essere previsto per l'inizio di Novembre, e dico "dovrebbe" in quanto è solo una mia supposizione, dal momento che in Francia sono già disponibili, come potete vedere sul sito francese, ovvero qui! :)

By indirect ways and through friends, I came in possession of the new Shine Caresse, new L'Oreal lip tint.
The launch should be scheduled for the beginning of November, and I "should" because that's just my guess, since they're already available in France, as you can see on the french site, here! :)

Lo scovolino è simile a quello delle tinte di Maybelline (ve ne ho parlato qui, ma mi ha profondamente deluso), e a quello delle tinte di YSL.
La resistenza dello swatch è impressionante, ho fatto molta fatica a toglierlo dalla mano. Sono curiosa di vedere come si comporterà sulle labbra!
Ora vi lascio ad altri scatti, e agli swatches!

The brush is very similar to the Maybelline Liptint's one (I talked about it here, but I'm deeply disappointed), and to the YSL Liptint's one.
The resistance of the swatch is awsome, it was quite difficult to remove. I'm curious to see how it will be on the lips!

On Vacation: My beauty bag

Ebbene, oggi mi concentrerò con voi sull'arduo tema: "Il make-up da portare in vacanza". So già che sarà un post molto difficile xD
In pratica voglio mostrarvi quali sono i prodotti che porterò con me in questa settimana di relax che mi attende ... Non vi tedierò sulla scelta di ogni singolo prodotto, questo ve lo risparmio! Devo solo riuscire a coniugare due diverse filosofie di pensiero, "Sono in vacanza, e ho poca voglia di truccarmi" e "Sono in vacanza, mi rilasso e ho voglia di truccarmi in modo diverso rispetto al solito". Difficile, eh? Ma sono molto fiera di essere riuscita a far entrare tutto il makeup nella pochette di Elf - vedi qui! -.

La matita mi pare davvero carinissima, molto sfumabile. Probabilmente (anzi, sicuramente xD) la proverò già domani. Il DD è veramente bellissimo! Io e mia madre siamo rimaste in osservazione gloriosa per qualche minuto, mentre muovevo la mano su cui l'avevo swatchato in controluce. La base oro è shimmer, e, potrei sbagliarmi, ma mi pare assomigli al Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow 06 di Kiko (potrei forse usarlo come base?), e in più ha tantissimi glitter che brillano dappertutto! Questo, usato d'estate ... *_* (certo, con un po' di bronzer ad aiutarmi, sappiamo che madre natura non è stata clemente riguardo alla melanina ... ma questa è un'altra storia! xD)
Il Russian Red ... beh, conosciamo la fama di questo rossetto! Credo che dovrò nasconderlo, perchè a mamma si sono illuminati gli occhi quando ha visto quel rosso! Non vedo l'ora di avere l'occasione per indossarlo!

The pencil seems really nice, very smudge. Probably (in fact, surely xD) I'll try it tomorrow. The DD is really beautiful! Me and my mother are left to look for a few glorious minutes, my hand where I made a swatch, moving against the light. The base color is golden shimmer, and I could be wrong, but it seems to look like the Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow 06 from Kiko (I could probably use it as base?), plus it has a lot more glitter that sparkle everywhere! This eyeshadow, used in the summer ... *_* (Yes, with a bit of bronzer to help me, we know that mother nature has not been gracious with melanin with me ... but that's another story! XD)
The Russian Red ... Well, we know the reputation of this lipstick! I think I'll have to hide it, because my mom's eyes lit up when he saw that red! I look forward to having the opportunity to wear it!

Review: Beauty Uk Lipsticks

In molte l'avevate richiesta ... Ok, no, in realtà solo Martina, sigh, l'aveva richiesta. Ma potevo non averci già pensato, vista la mia immensa passione per i rossetti? Ma certo che no! Quindi ecco a voi la review dei rossetti di Beauty Uk che ho acquistato nell'ordine di Settembre (e che quindi ho provato per un po'!).

Many of you had requested it ... Ok, no, actually just Martina, sigh. But could I - in order to my big passion for lipsticks - not have thought about it? Of course not! So here is the review of Beauty UK lipsticks I purchased in my order of September (and then I tried them for a while!).

Partiamo subito col dire che non riesco a fare una classifica di gradimento tra i miei rossetti. Non vi dirò "questo è migliore di ..." o "questo è peggiore di ...". Trovo che ogni rossetto abbia qualità diverse - io stessa li ho acquistati per le qualità diverse -, quindi cercherò di essere il più schematica e imparziale possibile - professional mode: on -
(Tutto ciò nasce anche dal fatto che non ho ancora trovato il "rossetto per la vita" ... Ahah, la strada è ancora luuunga e tortuosa!)

Let's start by saying that I can't make a ranking of appreciation on my lipsticks. I will not tell you "this is better than ..." or "this is worse than ...". I think that each one of them has different qualities - and that's why I bought them -, so I'll try to be as partial as possible - professional mode: on -. (All this comes from the fact that I still have to find my "lipstick for life" ... ahah, the road is so loooong and winding!)

Qual'è il tuo brand di rossetti preferito? Non ne ho uno in particolare. Ho tutti rossetti in coppia - due di Kiko, due Elf Minerali e due Elf base, due Beauty Uk, etc. -, e mi trovo bene con tutti loro.

Your favorite lipsticks brand? I do not have one in particular. All my lipsticks are in pairs - two from Kiko, two from Elf Mineral and two from Elf base line, two from Beauty Uk, etc. -, and I feel good with all of them.

Rossetto Rosa preferito? Ne ho parecchi sui toni del rosa, e non saprei sceglierne uno. Ultimamente però mi piace usare spesso "In the Buff" di Beauty Uk, o il "Classy" della linea base Elf.

Favorite Pink lipstick? I have several shades of pink lipsticks, and I can't choose only one. But lately I frequently like to use "In the Buff" by Beauty Uk, or "Classy" from the Elf base line.

Rossetto Nude preferito? Non ho rossetti nude, trovo che mi stiano male.

Favorite Nude lipstick? I don't have any nude lipstick, I think they don't look good on me.

Rossetto Pesca/Corallo preferito? Lo 02 - I'm Sailing della collezione "50's Girls Reloaded" di Essence. Lo adoro!

Favorite Peach/Coral lipstick? 02 - I'm Sailing from L.E. "50's Girls Reloaded" by Essence. I love it!

Rossetto Rosso preferito? Ne ho due. Uno da giorno, il Barely Bitten di Elf, che è un rosso portabilissimo, e uno da sera, il 392 Rosso Mela di Kiko - Creamy, della vecchia linea -, un bel rosso con sottotono blu.

Favorite Red lipstick? I have two. One for the day, Barely Bitten from Elf Mineral, which is a quite red, and one for the night, N. 392 Apple Red from Kiko - a Creamy one, from the old line of products -, a beautiful red with blue undertone.

Rossetto Viola preferito? Anche questo colore mi manca. Lo sto cercando, vorrei un viola caldo bello corposo che crei un bel contrasto con la mia carnagione - da fantasma -.

Favorite Purple lipstick? I miss this color, too. I'm looking for it, I wish a dense, warm purple which create a nice contrast with my skin - I'm a ghost -.

Rossetto Fucsia preferito? Il "Gossip Girl" di Beauty Uk, è un bellissimo fucsia pieno con riflessi blu. 

Favorite Fuchsia lipstick? "Gossip Girl" from Beauty Uk, it's a wonderful full fuchsia with blue shimmer.

Colore inusuale preferito? Non ho colori particolari.

Favorite unsual color for lipstick? Don't have it.

Colore scuro preferito? Non ho rossetti scuri..

Favorite dark lipstick? Don't have it.

Qual'è la tua texture/finish preferito? Mi piacciono sia i Matt che i Creamy, purchè abbiano un bel colore pieno. Per confort sulle labbra, direi quindi Creamy.

Favorite texture/finish? I like both Matt and Creamy, long as they have a full covered color. But, if I have to choose for confort on the lips, I'd say Creamy.

Altri rossetti preferiti? Mi piacciono tanto i rossetti sheer, almeno in estate. 

Other favorite lipsticks? I really like sheer lipsticks, during summer.
