Mini haul and a little chat

Ciao a tutte! Oggi volevo approfittare per fare qualche chiacchera e un post haul, visto che è un po' che non ne faccio ... Sarà perchè ultimamente sto comprando molta meno roba ... ehm, sì, regali di Natale a parte! ...
Voi a che punto siete con i regali ai vostri cari? Io sono riuscita a finire tutto lo scorso weekend :D Ammetto però che qualche piccolo sfizio me lo sono concesso ...

Hi everybody! Today I wanted to chat a little bit and show you an haul post, since it's been a bit of time from the last one ... Maybe it's because lately I didn't buy so much stuff, except for Christmas presents!
Have you already finished buying presents for your loved ones? I finished them last weekend ;)
But I admit that I buy some little gifts for myself ...

Come potete vedere si tratta di poca roba, presa nelle ultime settimane ... Alcune cose mi servivano, altre no, ed altre ancora solo perchè erano lì :)

Review: Silky Touch Eyeshadow by Catherine Arley

Care lettrici, oggi voglio parlarvi del mio ombretto preferito.
Aaah, crea aspettativa questa frase, eh?

Si tratta di un ombretto trovato quasi per caso, ma che mi ha colpito immediatamente per la scrivenza. Nello specifico, sto parlando del Silky Touch Eyeshadow n. 23 del brand semi-sconosciuto Catherine Arley.
Si tratta di un ombretto dal finish satinato - giusto? -, di un meraviglioso colore viola/blu.



My dear readers, today I want to talk you about my favorite eyeshadow.
This sentence creates expectation, uh?

I found this eyeshadow almost by accident, but I was immediately struck by its writing effect.
In particular I'm talking about Silky Touch Eyeshadow num. 23 by the semi-unknown brand Catherine Arley.
It's a satin finish shadow - am I right? -, a wonderful purple/blue tone.

MOM - Minty and Magenta

Non so bene se ciò è dovuto ad un momento di noia, o alla voglia di fare una prova trucco per domani sera ... probabilmente tutt'e due. Comunque: ho provato a fare questo trucco vagamente color block, abbinando un colore pastello, in questo caso un verde menta, e un colore fluo sulle labbra, un bel magenta!

I'm not sure if it's due to a moment of boredom, or to the desire to do a trial-makeup for tomorrow ... probably both. BTW: I tried this makep inspired in some way to the color block trend, by using a pastel color, in this case a mint green, and a fluo color, a beautiful magenta on the lips!

Per le labbra ho voluto seguire il consiglio di Clio in questo video, dove suggerisce un nuovo utilizzo della mia amata Palette 96 e simili a cui non avevo mai pensato! Devo dire che è un'idea ingegnosissima!
Ho usato il secondo ombretto della terza riga a partire dall'alto della mia palette.

For the lips I wanted to follow Clio's advice in this video, where she suggests a new use of my beloves 96 Palette and similar to which I had never think about! It's a really clever idea!
I used the second eyeshadow of the third line from the top of my palette.

E per favore, notiamo la gloriosa riuscita di una pettinatura vagamente anni '50!
And please, notice the glorious success of a vague '50s hairdo!
