End of year, time for thoughts, balance sheets and good purposes.
Not much to say, ad - personally - this 2011 was a very good year. So, the only thing I can hope is that 2012 will proceed in the same way.
By the way, I will not make a list of my good purposes, ... The only one I want to share with you is to not spend too much.

Speriamo.

Yeah, 'cause after two months of  free shopping, to take advantage of my first paycheck, and no-makeup shopping, I have come to a conclusion: Is it really necessary that I make orders on orders, and spend my money constantly? I don't think so ... I thought I shoud put myself a limit of orders per month ... I'm also keep my Postepay card empty, so I will have to go out and charge it before making any order. Maybe this will save me from psycothic shopping. I can do it!

Meanwhile, I'm glad of Christmas presents ... mine, and those I recieved has been appreciated.
Among other things, my sister gave me the Oh So Special palette, and the Rose Gold blush from Sleek! You can image my satisfaction, since I was planning to bought them on January!
And the little present of my boss - he gave me it in a awkward moment where I was repeating "You shouldn't have!" - turned out to be a Vanity Collection trousse by Pupa! I did not think that I was so predictable even at work! However, I reeeeally appreciated it, oh yes.

I wish all of you a wonderful 2012, and a big big kiss!

Ordine ASOS 2 - Il Ritorno

I fell again! With all my feet! And I did not even want, I SWEAR! I was illustrating ASOS to a friend, explaining a bit about 'prices, promotions, shipping, etc., till I showed her the " listSaved Products" list, and I saw that one of the items I have on my list, one of my favorites, one of the first added, the blazer so cute and cool, it's not only discounted MORE! And I took a shot, because I did 't expect it and I didn't even know that there were such discounts. No mail was came ... In fact, the mail arrived right the next morning!

So within a nanosecond (ok no, ... by two nanoseconds), I decided to take advantage of it! How could I not do it, since it is discounted by 50%? Look here how beautiful is it!

Can't wait for the package to come! Delivery is estimated prior to January 5, but I - of course - I hope, it will arrive before that day, ghgh. They shipped on Monday, I just have to wait :)
I'll update you soon!

EDIT - 23 Dec.: It arrived!!! The mail was reached last night (I was already asleep), and delivered today! I'm so happy that I reached it before Christmas! Here it is!

That's it! I take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas! Big kiss!

Smalti festivi!

Hey, I'm back for a quick Christmas themed post! My personal choice of nail polishes for Christmas holidays! I searched between my polishes and I choosed the ones that I'm going to wear in the coming period :) Here the swatches, names are in the pics (click on them!), and after you'll fin my comment!

con/with flash

senza/without flash

Ecco qua!

Obviously there are only glazes I already had, 'cause you know about my vow - here! - ... Except one! Layla n° 201 nail polish, that my mother took with TuStyle magazine.

I should say that Desert Haze from Elf, actually is not very festive, but I figured it out with french (classical one, or at the base of the nail), witk Kiko n° 241 ... Even the Layla one would look good as well with MNY n° 445!
Essence nail polish, 64 Be Optimistic maybe is a bit autumnal, but a warm color lithe this, I think it will look good even for holidays (even here, with a golden franch manicure ...)
Last, but not least, there are two classic reds, a bright one, Rimmel 310 Red Carpet, and a dark one, Kiko n° 242 ... and for who want to go against tradition, and not choose the red, I thought to a beautiful blu from Catrice, the C02 En Vogue from the Limited Edition Glamourama, released last year.

So, this is my personal selection of festive nail polishes! I promise I'll try to make some french manicure, or some particular combination! If the result will be watchable, I'll take some pics, if not ... well, forget it! xD

Buone feste a tutte voi! :)

My best wishes! :)

Haul: Gelugu Accessories from Etsy

Come? Non lo conoscete? Allora questo post potrebbe esservi utile, dopotutto! :P

As usual, instead of showing you some useful swatch, I'm going to write a beautiful and useless haul about an order I made in November on Etsy.com. What? Don't you know it? Then, this post might be useful after all! :P

Etsy.com is a sales platform, like Ebay, where each seller has its own online shop, but the image is much more clean and tidy - than Ebay's -, ess confused in my opinion, and especially with a particular philosopy: Etsy is only sell handmade or vintage items.
There are very special things, with sellers from around the whole world. And this is the great unknown: the majority of sellers are located in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia or United States ... then there would be the problem of custom - I mean, for the shipments to Italy -, but you can contact the seller and agree on a way to get around this matter (usually the seller marked the package as "gift", and indicates a minor value than real one),and perhaps avoid voluminous parcels or packages.

I found this site thanks to a haul video from LadyMija89 - here! -, where she showed some purchases from two different shops. Obviously I went to take a look on the site - it's dangerous, you have to know it! Once entered, no one can came out! -, and I found some really cute shops! But now, the material of the post ... I ordered from two different shops ... one will remain under secret, for now - beacuse Christmas -, but after holidays I'll make for sure a review-post, 'cause I found myself really well with it!
And now ... here the little things I bought from
Gelugu Accessories ...

Flash review about a limited edition product by Essence, released a year ago, proudly bought and then enthusiastically forsaken in my makeup drawer, submerged by everything else.
I re-discovered it recently, to do a hyper makeup in the morning, and look more awake at work.

Linea/LineLimited Edition "Metallics!" - Nov./Dic. 2010
Nome/NameJumbo Eye Pencil
Colore/Color: 01 - Metal Battle & 02 - Copper Rulez
Prezzo/Price2,49 € (?)
Contenuto/Content2,5 g
In vendita/Still for saleNo! Nope!

Sopra / Top: Metal Battle - Sotto / Bottom: Copper Rulez

Not much to say ... I'm using a lot of Copper Rulez as eyeshadow, on the lower eyelid and then smoothed with a brush. I use it by itself, without primer, and lasts 8 hours and more on me, without even a wrinkle! I remember using it as a base - before it ended in oblivion - and revives a lot gold/metal eyeshadows. More than copper, it seems to me a cold gold, but I really like it!
About the Metal Battle, I can not tell a lot about life, because I use very little yet. Unfortunately I do not like the smooth effect ... the color is spread unevenly, and in some points disappears ... just like the cream of the same color eyeshadow - Rock Chic, always from Essence -, reviewed by the talented Margueritehere! - ... This leads me to think that they have a similar formulation, except that one is more creamy (just as in cream, and not in stick).

Better investigate the Metal Battle, because I seem to recall he was good as base but I would not be wrong ... In the meantime, if you have forgotten Copper Rulez, I suggest you brush up, because you will not be disappointed! Now I leave the swatches:

02 - Copper Rulez

01 - Metal Battle

ps: I'd be curious to make a comparison with the Stick Eyeshadow by Kiko ... mmmh ... hope they keep them in the discount until January!

SOS: Unghie spezzate!

Spezzandosi così in basso non posso certo tagliarle, quindi? Come fare?

Have you ever had broken nails? No? Lucky you!
My nails are like a clock, in October and March/April, start to break with no mercy. Normally I fix this problem easily by keeping them a little shorter than usual, but what I don't understand is the way that the nails of my thumbs broke. Yes, 'cause they ALWAYS broke themself on the outer side, and halfway up the nail - very strange point -.
Breaking in that point, I cannot cut them, so? What can I do?
But then Essence rushes to our aid!

I attempt in this sort of "review" 'cause I've never read about this product, and to be honest I got it 'cause I found it to 0.99 cents this summer, and I said to myself "Why not? Maybe it works!" and so it was! Let's be clear: this does not help your nails to magically weld.
Its function is simply to hold together the nail, avoiding tripping over the broken corner in seams, zippers, angles, etc., threatening to tear the nail.

"Do not throw anything away!", popular saying mostly used by grannies.
In facts it's true, keeping faith in this saying, your parents' closet (or even granparents') may become a place to discover new wonders!

The other day, while I was looking for fabrics and ribbons in the cupboard, to revive my sad clutch - here! -, I found this little cute and lonely thing. It's a case for a camera eye, it's my father's, who has a passion for photography, but now it was empty, and not used. So, armed with sweet eyes, I ask my father if he needed it, or if he wanted to keep it ... "No, keep it well", it was the answer I was waiting for, and now it's mineee! For what could I use it? Mmmh, as case for a kabuki brush (the fact I don't have one is just a detail!)? I think I'll use it as a travel jewerly box :)

Another discovery, this time directly from my mother's closed. After seeing my big clutch from Asos - here! -, maybe for the size, maybe for a unknown link to me, she went to take a purse/large envelope that she had bought when she was just married (like thirty years ago!). It's a leather bag, with a shoulder belt that can be removed (and I think I'll keep it off, using it as a clutch).
Isn't it  beautiful?

DIY: Color Block Minimal Pochette

After an afternoon spent to create something that will be known as "thing" - we're on Christmas time, come on! -, I took advantage of the chaos on my desk and the material I had around, to give life to an old useless bag, found in a Donna Moderna in the fifth century B.C.
I ask forgiveness, but in the enthusiasm to retrace the glorious footsteps of Mr. Mucciaccia with Art Attack, the first, and Ms. Barbara with Paint Your Life, then, I haven't taken pictures before or during the proceedings. Don't get angry ♥

Quello di cui avete bisogno è:
- Borsa/busta/pochette tinta unita (materiale a piacere, triste e senza applicazioni);
- Nastri, nastrini e passamanerie (di stoffa eh! Mica per i pacchetti regalo!);
- Colla a caldo.

What you need is:
- Bag / envelope / clutch, one color (material as desired, sad and without applications);
- Ribbons and trims (fabric ones! Not for gift packages!);
- Hot glue.

The process is simple ... Try various compositions with ribbons and trimmings on your envelope. You can stack them, make them turn around, ... there is no limit to your imagination. The important thing is that you find a composition you like, and that you have in mind as a "stop" the tapes, without shredding them everywhere.
Now armed with a gun (the hot glue!), And a book, something or someone - and I thank my person! - which/who takes your ribbons in place, so that you can glue them first one way then the other. In order not to fray the tapes, I fold the end on itself and pasted it for good! And this is the result:

... Sì, continuiamo a raccontarcelo xD

That might not be perfect, or refined to art, but I don't mind at all! I wanted to use a color that I rarely use - yellow -, to create the color-block effect! ... Yes, we continue to tell us about it xD Note the cuff, kindly sewn by my mother :D

ps: if you want to use Attack instead of hot glue ... don't do it! The Attack penetrates into the fabric, and the stains remain. Alternatively you can use the glue Vinavil, I think. I'm not sure what ... oh well xD

Ordine Asos

Well, you know, when there are discounts and promotions, we - I mean women - don't know to resist.  Recently I found that for me, an online shop, is more dangerous than walk into a store in liquidation! Maybe because I have no sense of  moderation - that is carrying around heavy bags and bags full of purchases -, maybe 'cause online you can find that thing that you searched for seas and mountains, in every single corner of a shopping center, and never succeed.
The fact is that last Sunday, I made an order on ASOS!

I have registered to the newsletter a few months ago, and sometimes I like to wander  to see if there's something I like, I'd buy, or just to wallow in too expensive things for my pockets.
Yes, 'cause ASOS' prices are a bit expensive, starting from a minimum level around Zara's prices. But, when I received the advertising mail with discounts on bags and accessories, I began seriously to make a little thought!
