Review: Silky Touch Eyeshadow by Catherine Arley

My dear readers, today I want to talk you about my favorite eyeshadow.
This sentence creates expectation, uh?

I found this eyeshadow almost by accident, but I was immediately struck by its writing effect.
In particular I'm talking about Silky Touch Eyeshadow num. 23 by the semi-unknown brand Catherine Arley.
It's a satin finish shadow - am I right? -, a wonderful purple/blue tone.

As you can see, I depotted the shadow, 'cause I wanted to safe some space. The original packaging is the classic mono-shadow pack - you may see it soon ... :P -.
It's really difficult to capture the real color in the photos, since the blue tone comes out more than the purple one.

I can assure you that there are no glitter, the ones you see are the reflections of the shadow itself.
I called it satin - and I hope it's the right word, ahah -, 'cause it seems a matt eyeshadow at first, but in the light it releases some beautiful blue reflections.
And the writing effetct ... I love it. It was just this that convince me to buy it - 2,90€ if I remember correctly -, even thought I had just purchased the 96 Eyeshadow Palette from Zoeva. It really writes even just slightly touching the surface with your finger.

It's a bit dusty, yes, but I don't find it that bad. Let's say that it's a little less dusty that Sleek eyeshadows. Perhaps it's this feature that makes him so wonderfully blendable - is it right? -. And the color is really intense.
All this features, and not only its price, have made it my favorite eyeshadow.

Talking about, Catherine Arley brand is distributed in Italy by Il Sole S.r.l., a company that sells mainly low cost brands.
If you want an idea of where to find their products, you can send a request via the contact form, indicating the area that interest you ...

Now I leave you with a double look with this eyeshadow as protagonist, just to give you a little idea ... The makeup on the left is my favorite to wear, while the right one has a vague sixties influence, I wanted to experiment ...
I hope you like it! See you at the next post ;)
